Happy Birthday, Mrs. Hartsock!
Shay Hopkin, Triopia Class of 2014 graduate, passed away on Tuesday, July 26th.
Shay served in the United States Army in locations such as Kuwait and Germany. He was retired with honors this year after a diagnosis of stage four kidney cancer in 2020.
His visitation is Friday and funeral will be held Saturday of this week.
There is a group of individuals that are hoping to get volunteers to help place 700 flags between the school and Arenzville for his processional.
They will meet in the rear school parking lot at 4:00 PM on Thursday and again at 4:00 PM Saturday to help pick up the flags.
They are looking for organizations and any volunteers who are interested in helping.
We hope you will join them!

First Day of Student Attendance is Tuesday, August 16 Students will be dismissed one hour early on Tuesday 8/16 and Wednesday, 8/17.
Athletic Meeting is set for August 4 @ 7 PM in the HS Gym.
Please park in the back and use the foyer entrance.
Please plan to attend this meeting if your child plans to play a sport at Triopia this year! Handbook updates will be provided! We will collect sports physical paperwork and athletic fees.
Registration is this Thursday!

Lunch Update For 2022-2023 School Year

JH Baseball and Cross Country practice will begin on Monday, August 1st at Virginia. Practices for next week are scheduled for 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Monday through Saturday.
JH Sotball practice is also next week from 9:00-11:00 AM.
The bus will leave Triopia at 8:30 AM.
Athletes are asked to bring water bottles each day of practice and to be prepared to practice inside if the weather is not cooperative.
JH Baseball is open to only 7th and 8th graders this year.
A reminder to our families that we will need updated physicals, signed athletic waivers as well as your athletic fee paid. Please stop by the JH/HS office next week if you need to submit any of these items or to pay the athletic fee.

Like many of you, Triopia CUSD #27 is thankful for the work being completed in front of the school on the Concord-Arenzville blacktop! While we always encourage safe driving on this road, we especially encourage it now while construction is happening. Please slow down and be prepared for flaggers to stop you. This will keep those completing this important project safe. Thank you for your consideration!
