At Triopia, we are committed to promoting positive sportsmanship in every part of our athletic programs. Over the next several weeks, we will be sharing weekly messages that highlight the important roles played by everyone involved in our games. This week, we’re focusing on our officials.
As Triopia Trojans, we know our games can’t happen without the officials who give their time to keep competition fair and safe. Let’s show them the respect they deserve every night. That means letting them officiate the game as they see fit. Thank you, referees! #triopia

Congratulations to Triopia Board of Education President Tracie Sayre on her election as President of the Illinois Association of School Boards today in Chicago!
For the past two years she has served as Vice-President of the same organization. Her new role as President will run for a two-year term through 2027.
The Illinois Association of School Boards is a voluntary organization of local boards of education dedicated to strengthening the public schools through local citizen control. The Association is celebrating over 110 years of existence. It was founded in Quincy! Over 99 percent of the 852 Illinois school districts are members of IASB. Each year the organization hosts a conference in Chicago with thousands of school leaders in attendance, while also offering support, mentoring and coaching to school board members throughout the rest of the year.
Having Tracie in this position is an incredible honor for Triopia!
Tracie has served on the Triopia school board since 2007 and has been board president of our local board since 2013.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Family Reading Night!
