Aiden was nominated by Mrs. Burrus who had this to say, “Aiden is an overall nice kid, he's kind and considerate to everyone. I enjoy his stories that he shares and how he tries to help those that aren't understanding in class..”
Aiden says that he wants to continue his education after high school at a college or trade school. However, he is unsure of “where” at this time. Aiden’s favorite class is PE with Mr. Brockouse because he enjoys playing games and competing. Some of Aiden’s favorite things are German Chocolate Cake, wolves, and Christmas. His favorite move is Blindside and his favorite TV show is American Pickers. His favorite non-school related activity showing livestock for 4-H. Aiden’s least favorite thing is doing homework. Congratulations Aiden Neathery!

Jayla Waid is the Upperclassmen Student of the Month for October. She is the daughter of Rusty and Jackie Waid and she is involved in volleyball, softball, and Student Council.
Mrs. Dober nominated Jayla and noted, “Jayla is a quiet soul in a rambunctious class. She works hard for her grades and always wants to be the best that she can. She helps all of her classmates no matter the subject.”
Jayla wants to study radiological sciences after high school and has not yet made a decision on where she wants to go to college. Her favorite class is Ceramics with Mrs. Wardell because she really enjoys making things. Some of Jayla’s favorite things are scotcheroos, dolphins, and Christmas. Her favorite thing to do non-school related is playing volleyball at fitness world. Jayla mentioned that she does not like politics. Congratulations Jayla Waid!

We've had a great first two months of school thanks to the hard work of everyone involved. Parents, please remember to continue your daily symptom and temperature screenings on your children to keep our students, staff and community safe!
Thank you to Sherie Trace and Brett Yates for taking the time to come speak to our seniors this week about civic engagement! They both spoke about ways to get involved in the community and how small acts of kindness can have great ripple effects! A small group of people can make a difference. A special thank you to Mrs. Price for getting this opportunity set up for our students.

We are experienced issues with our phone lines this morning. Please use email to communicate any absences, etc. with the secretaries this morning.
