As stated last week, Memorial Behavior Health was awarded a Substance Use Prevention Services Grant. Through that grant, they are carrying out a Teen Alcohol Prevention Campaign. Please see the attached poster and newsletter regarding this topic.
Miss Laurie visited with Mrs. Seymour's class and they discussed their favorites. They helped set the menu for today: September 28.

The 2019-2020 Jr. Sr. High school yearbooks are in and will be distributed today. Remote Learners and 2020 seniors will need to make arrangements to pick theirs up from the office - please email kmiller@triopiacusd27.org or call Kim at 217-457-2281 x1021.
Please dress your child(ren) appropriately and send a coat, recess and PE will be held outdoors, as long as it’s not raining and the weather cooperates!

Triopia Schools will dismiss early on Friday, September 18 for a School Improvement Day - Bus Students will be dismissed at 1:10, remaining GS students at 1:15 and remaining JH/HS students at 1:20. There will be NO afternoon Pre-K.
Also, Monday, September 21 is a Remote Planning Day, so no student attendance. If you are interested in picking up a FREE lunch for your students on Monday, please contact Mrs. Hobrock.

A survey was sent out to parents/guardians on Wednesday regarding FREE meals on the Remote Planning Days, which are scheduled for the next two Mondays. If you did not receive the email/text, please contact Mrs. Hobrock at jhobrock@triopiacusd27.org or 217-457-2281 x1032. Please complete the survey if you'd like to receive meals by Friday at 6 PM.

The Triopia Yearbook staff would like for you to join in some school wide dress up days next week - Remote learners are encouraged to participate as well, please post your pictures in the comments on Facebook or email to Mrs. Smith at msmith@triopiacusd27.org.
Triopia has received notice from ISBE that they have extended waivers for the school district to provide free lunch to all students (K-12) possibly through December. This will start tomorrow, Friday, September 4. These meals are also available to those that are remote learners and will be available for pickup from 11:30-12:00 each day Triopia is in session.
The menu will be the same as posted on the monthly lunch menu.
If your child(ren) are remote learners, please fill out the form sent via text or email. If you did not receive and would like meals, please email Mrs. Hobrock at jhobrock@triopiacusd27.org.
