November 15th is recognized as School Board Members Day in Illinois. It is important to remember the time and commitment taken by these volunteers to lead Triopia. While 2020 has certainly created new challenges for the education community and everyday life, it has also shown the importance of having a quality leadership team that is able to adapt to current conditions while still meeting the local community’s public education needs and students’ goals.
We are thankful for our board members Jim Beck, David Bunfill, Keith Fricke, Cindy Littleton, Ben McCoy, Tracie Sayre, and Tabatha Stambaugh. #ThankABoardMember

Family Reading Night is an annual statewide event held the third Thursday in November to encourage families to spend quality time reading together. This event is sponsored by Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian, Jesse White, and the Illinois Center for the Book. Triopia Grade School usually participates annually, however, with the current restrictions we were forced to "think outside the box".
This year, we will be posting videos of faculty and staff reading a book or two each evening to our social media pages and website. We encourage you to sit down and "listen" as a family and follow up with a discussion about the book.
The videos will begin on Monday, November 16 and be posted each evening through Friday, November 20. We hope you enjoy!
