Just a few more minor finishing touches and inspections, and the greenhouse will be ready to go. Thanks again for all who helped getting this project complete. We are excited to see what our students will accomplish in this building in the years to come! #triopia
Junior High Girls Basketball starts practice TOMORROW, Wednesday, March 10. Practice is from 4-5:30 in Meredosia. The bus will leave Triopia at 3:30 and return about 6. Please bring a water bottle with you to practice each day.

Shout out to the HS Scholastic Bowl Team on finishing their short season with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss and getting 3rd at the IHSA regional. The team consists of Owen McCoy, Curtis Kretzer, Eli Stock, Maggie Foster, and Daniel Wingert (not pictured). The team is coached by Mr. Merle Beddingfield.

Attendance Update for HS Girls Basketball vs. Pittsfield on March 9th: We have decided to allow high school students to attend the girls basketball game on March 9th. There will be a sign up sheet for HS students on the HS office window and they need to be signed up in order to attend the game. With this decision, we are limiting attendance to 1 parent per player for freshmen thru juniors. This will not apply to senior parents as this is one of the last girls home game of this season. We would like to thank you in advance for your understanding. If you have any questions, please contact the HS office.

Good morning:
Triopia staff choosing to be vaccinated for COVID-19 will receive their second dose on Friday, March 5th. Vaccinations end at 3:00 PM that day, so in order to give our staff ample time to get to the location to receive the vaccination, Triopia schools will dismiss one hour early that day.
Bus students will have a 1:25 PM dismissal.
Everyone else will have a 1:29 PM dismissal.

REMINDER: NO school tomorrow!
There will be a High School Volleyball Player-Parent meeting for anyone interested in playing HS volleyball. The meetings will be held at Triopia. We will break into TWO groups so that we can socially distance better -- we have a large team. Please plan to attend the meeting scheduled for you so that we can keep our numbers balanced: The meetings will be held on Sunday, February 28. 4:00-- ALL seniors & ALL basketball players who play volleyball 4:45 - ALL remaining players interested in playing volleyball There will be forms to fill out. Please bring your own pen and wear a mask.
COVID-19 Update 2.26.21
Laila Beck is the Upperclassmen Student of the Month for February. She is the daughter of Jason and Alicia and she has a sister, Kaylee. Laila is involved in FFA, Student Council, and NHS here at Triopia.
Mrs. Dober nominated Laila and noted, “Laila has been working extra hard these past couple of weeks and her hard work is paying off with great understanding on assignments. She was out for a little bit for her knee and has come back strong ready to learn. Go Laila!”
Laila plans to attend any college/university that has a good ag program. She wants to major in biochemistry or forensic science. In addition to college, she has another goal for life after high school which is to have a family and own a farm with horses and cattle. Some of Laila’s favorite things are homegrown steak, horses (only because a calf busted her leg), the TV show Yellowstone, the movie Avatar, and her favorite holiday is Christmas. She enjoys riding horses, showing cows, fishing and drawing. Congratulations, Laila Beck!
Triopia Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, March 1 in observance of Casimir Pulaski Day.
