Unfortunately, due to quarantines, our Band and Choir concert tomorrow night (Wednesday, April 21st) has been postponed. We hope to find another date in May so we can give our students the chance to perform in front of their families and show off their talents. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.

OSS does not have enough 7th graders for a game tonight, so there will just be an 8th grade game tonight.
8th grade recognition will start at 6:00 PM and only play the 8th grade game.

Along with the openings recently shared, Triopia is also looking for substitute cooks. If interested, please reach out to Adam Dean at adean@triopiacusd27.org or also at 217-457-2281 x 1025. Thank you!

COVID-19 Update 4.16.21

Good Afternoon:
Due to continued traffic congestion issues on the Concord-Arenzville Blacktop, Triopia will move to the following pickup/drop off procedure starting tomorrow, April 15th, 2021. In short, only busses will drop off before school and pick up after school in the front circle drive. All car riders will be dropped off and picked up in the rear of the building. Please see the attached map for a detailed explanation. We realize there may be minor issues as this is worked out, but we need to do what we can to keep everyone safe during these high traffic periods at the school.
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Attention Triopia families: Kathy Smith, one of our cooks had open heart surgery in March. We are having a Pork Chop “to go” meal in order to raise funds to help her with medical expenses. If you’d like to purchase any tickets, please call the school office.
Tickets must be prepurchased by Friday, April 23, 2021.
There is a home baseball/softball game the evening of the dinner, so come out and support the Trojans and pick up dinner before you go home!
If you have any questions, please call the school!
**Tickets will be available to purchase at the entrance of the HOME football game on Friday night!

Big shout out to Caden Moore on being selected to the 1A Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Special Mention Team this year! This recognition means that he is considered one of the top 50 players in 1A in the state of Illinois. Congratulations Caden!

There has been a change to the Homecoming dress up day for tomorrow, April 13th. It will now be dress like a superhero day or rep your favorite sports team. We look forward to seeing the different outfits! Go Trojans!

Please don't stop on the highway in front of the school during pickup and drop off in the mornings. If the circle drive is full, circle around and come back after the line has shortened. Thank you!

The High School Football team would like to invite all 7th and 8th Grade students who are interested in playing high school football to our Pre-Game this Friday April 16th. Please meet at the Green House at 6:00pm. Please wear your school colors. Meredosia in Orange, Virginia in Red, Triopia in Blue.

It's Homecoming Week!

Attention 7th and 8th Grade Parents: Illinois Assessment of Readiness will be taken during the week of April 19th.

April 4th-10th is recognized as National Library Week and this week our students have taken the time to honor Mrs. Forsman. Triopia is lucky to have someone so involved and caring. She instills a love for reading in all of our students and we can't think of anyone that epitomizes the culture of Triopia more than Mrs. Forsman. Thanks for all you do!
