Triopia schools will not be in session today, February 12th, due to incoming inclement weather. All extracurricular events are also cancelled.

Triopia Schools will not be in session on Monday, February 17 in observance of Presidents' Day.


With the "impending" snow storm approaching, the archery team had their own snowball fight! "Snow" much fun was had by all!








For the week of February 10th, 2025, Triopia Jr. Sr. High School is pleased to spotlight senior Kaylee Beck. Kaylee’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Embley and Mrs. Whelan and her favorite class is Statistics. While at school, Kaylee has participated in FFA, NHS, Poms, Track and CEO. Outside of school, Kaylee likes spending time with her family, pets, and livestock,; and participates in drill team and 4-H. After high school, Kaylee plans to attend LLCC then transfer to UIS to further her education in Psychology. When asked to tell us something else, Kaylee says her favorite animal is a beluga whale! We are proud to have Kaylee represent our school and community! #triopia

Triopia Youth Basketball Clinic participants are invited to the high school girls game tomorrow night vs. Pawnee at 6:00 PM. Students will receive free admission. Participants in the clinic will be invited on the court at halftime and are encouraged to wear their clinic shirts! We hope to have a good crowd during the last home game of the year for our Lady Trojans!

Reminder:
The Triopia Basketball Clinic for 1st-4th graders resumes on Saturday, February 8th in the GS gym. It is also held on February 15th and February 22nd.
1st and 2nd graders participate from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM.
3rd and 4th graders participate from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM.

Students from Triopia Grade School presented David Turner from the Jacksonville Salvation Army with a check for $1204.84 today. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our 100th day collection - your support of our community and school is greatly appreciated.



Triopia schools will be dismissing at 12:15 today (February 5th) due to incoming inclement weather. All students will still receive lunch. Afternoon Pre-K is also cancelled as well as all practices and activities for the evening.

Ali’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Burchard and Mrs. Whelan and her favorite classes are choir and science. While at school, Ali has participated in Poms, NHS, Student Council and FFA. Outside of school, Ali has participated in JYC, Dance, and 4-H. After high school, Ali plans to attend LLCC then transfer to WIU to study zoology. When asked to tell us something else about herself, Ali says she has danced for almost 16 years! We are proud to have Ali represent our school and community! #triopia
