Mrs. Morrow's 7th grade class had another successful reading auction! They earned a dollar for each page read to use to bid on and win various items. A majority of these items were graciously donated by local businesses. Triopia would like to thank those businesses for supporting and encouraging our students!
Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Hannah Pierson! Hannah says her favorite teacher is Mrs. Holt and her favorite class is Ag Business! While at school, Hannah has participated in FFA and the CEO Program. Outside of school, Hannah works and performs at Legacy Dance and Tumbling Complex, plays sand volleyball at the Hangout, and babysits. . After graduation, Hannah plans to attend LLCC for two years then will transfer to a four-year college and major in early childhood education. Hannah has also worked with Mrs. Tracy's kindergarten class and she says they are her favorite! We are proud to have had Hannah at Triopia and we are excited to see what she accomplishes after graduation! #triopia
Triopia Jr/Sr High School is proud to present our spring musical Camp Sunshine on April 19th-21st. The Friday/Saturday show time is 7pm and Sunday show time is 2pm. Tickets are $8, advance digital tickets are available by using the QR Code below or tickets can also be purchased at the door.
Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Lilly Pate! When asked about her favorite teacher, Lilly says she likes all of her teachers! She says that her favorite classes are Civics and Spanish. While at school, Lilly has participated in basketball, golf, and National Honor Society. Outside of school, Lilly likes to go out with friends and play piano. After graduation, Lilly plans to attend a four-year university, major in political science and then attend law school. Lilly also says she is terrible at parking. We are proud to have had Lilly at Triopia and we are excited to see what she accomplishes after graduation! #triopia

Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Cooper Pahlmann! Cooper's favorite teacher is Coach Brockhouse and his favorite class is Advanced Biology. While at school, Cooper has participated in football, throwing discus and shot put in track, has served as President of the Student Council and a member of NHS. Outside of school, Cooper plays for the Springfield Celts Rugby Club and also likes to camp and hang out with friends. After graduation, Cooper plans to study Public Health at SIUC. Cooper says that he is also building a go-kart out of a shopping cart! We are proud to have had Cooper at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia
Triopia Schools will be IN session next Monday and Tuesday (March 25-26) and spring break will start next Wednesday (March 27).

While at school, Anna has participated in volleyball, cheerleading, NHS, CEO, Big Brother/Big Sister, and JYC! Outside of school, Anna participates in travel volleyball, hangs out with family and friends, and likes attending baseball and softball games. After graduation, Anna plans to attend a four-year university but is undecided on where at this time. Anna also says that her favorite color is purple! Today's high school baseball game against North Mac has been cancelled.
Friday night at The Bowl in Jacksonville is the annual West Central All Star Basketball Game. Triopia will be represented by KJ Beck, the Trojan Cheerleaders, and Coach Thompson. Festivities begin at 7pm, tickets can be purchased at the door for $7.

Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Owen McCoy! Owen's favorite teacher is Mrs. Embley and his favorite class is Band. While in school, Owen participated in band, archery, NHS, and on the scholastic bowl team. Outside of school, Owen likes to draw, practice for band, play video games and do general research. After graduation, Owen plans to attend the University of Illinois. Owen also says he has two dogs, a black labrador and a beagle. We are proud to have had Owen at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia
Triopia schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Cody Winkelman as the Head Football Coach of our high school team. When asked about receiving the position, Coach Winkelman stated, "I am very excited to get started and to continue the proud tradition of Triopia Trojan football."
Cody had an excellent career in high school for the Trojans. He graduated in 2006 having played on one quarterfinal team and two semifinalist teams. Since then, Coach Winkelman has been an assistant coach at Beardstown High School from 2011-2016 where he served as a running backs, linebacker, and offensive coordinator. He has also assisted on the Triopia staff for the past three years by helping lead running backs, defensive backs, and special teams. He has also served as an assistant on the high school basketball team for the past year. Cody has taught special education at Triopia since 2020.
