Thank you to all who contributed to the Volley for Hope event. The night was again a HUGE success - over $4,600 was brought in and will be donated to a local family and the Mia Ware Foundation.

Miss Laurie visited with Mrs. Pahlmann's 1st grade class and they discussed their favorites. They helped set the menu for tomorrow, October 18. The menu will be (their favorites - as a class): Bosco Breadsticks, Broccoli with Ranch, Watermelon, Peach Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream and Milk.

Raffle - Silent Auction - Food - Pie in the FACE - Boys dressed in PINK - Survivor Recognition - Chuck the Duck - VOLLEYBALL and more!
Food and raffles begin at 5 - JV game (v. Beardstown) will start at 6, the Pie in the Face and recognition of survivors will take place following the JV game.
All proceeds from the evening benefit the Mia Ware foundation and local families.

If we’re going to reduce the dropout rate, we need to reduce absenteeism... 3/4ths of students who are chronically absent in 6th grade will dropout of high school and a student who is chronically absent in high school is 7.4X more likely to dropout! #schooleveryday #triopia

Teachers spent their day at the Quincy Conference where Gerry Brooks was one of the keynote speakers!

Triopia participated in the Illinois Great Apple Crunch - the apples students were served for lunch were locally sourced!
