Good afternoon: As you all know, remote learning and lunches will continue through the rest of the year. The end date of school is May 21st. After this, remote learning and lunches will end. We will continue with the same routines we have had for the past few weeks. Many questions have been brought up since the closure extended through the end of the year. This includes questions about events, like high school graduation, as well as cleaning out student lockers. Our plan, for now, is to wait and see if the "stay at home" order extends past April 30th. If it does, we will begin looking at alternative arrangements for high school graduation. Other events are currently "up in the air" depending on the recommendations of the governor and the Illinois State Board of Education. As another reminder, as all schools have been closed per the governor's order, this includes the playground and basketball courts. No one should be on school property without prior permission from an administrator. Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this unprecedented time in our history. Feel free, as always, to reach out to any administrator if you have specific questions. Thanks, Adam Dean, Superintendent

THANKS AGAIN for your participation in Triopia JH/HS Yearbook's photo contest for Week #2! The winner of the $25 gift card for their picture is Lydia Walters! Lydia won the contest for sending in candids. Remember, candids will get you entered into the contest twice. She sent pictures of activities throughout this year, including the one below of seniors out to eat during Senior Ad Day. Week #3's theme is CELEBRATIONS! Did you have a birthday or help a friend or family member celebrate theirs? Did you throw a party because of an epic video game win? Did you celebrate doing something complicated that you didn't think you could do? You could even take a photo of you celebrating this beautiful weather! Send in any celebratory photos to emorrow@triopiacusd27.org or post in the comments below to be in the running for the $25 gift card. Remember that staff members are welcome to participate!

Grade School Students: We want to know what you've been doing - Mrs. Hobrock has a few pages in the yearbook left to fill, so we are going to jump on board with Mrs. Morrow's idea and have you share pictures each week. Grade School students/parents that share pictures via email (jhobrock@triopiacusd27.org) or comment on this Facebook thread will be put into a weekly drawing (separate from the JH/HS) for a fun prize! Show us what you've been doing! *All pictures shared will be used in the 2019-2020 Triopia Grade School Yearbook.

Good afternoon: Governor Pritzker has now extended the closure of Triopia and all other Illinois schools for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. Remote learning and lunches will continue through May. I will await guidance on other events such as prom and high school graduation before making decisions. I realize how important these events are to seniors and their families. Any students in need of supports are encouraged to reach out to Triopia personnel. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming week. Stay well, Adam Dean, Superintendent
