Triopia Grade School 100th Day collection totals are in... we were able to collect over $1,500 for Shay and his family along with 152 items for the food panty! Thank you to everyone who contributed!


Seniors who are needing help with post-secondary planning (what you plan to do after high school) are encouraged to come to any or all of the Senior Open Houses planned for the following weeks.

Avery was our 100th student to enter through the hallway this morning!! Congratulations Avery!
Although we are masked this year and many things look different, the 100th day is a day students and staff look forward to each year! There were lots of "smiles" through eyes today as they came down the hall!
This year it is a HUGE accomplished that TGS has made it 100 days IN-PERSON! Shout out to the staff, students and parents for doing their part which has allowed us to keep our doors open! #triopia

Today is our 100th day of school - TGS has completed 100 days of IN-PERSON learning this year! Students will be celebrating the number 100 today in a variety of ways in their classrooms.

Emma Milby is the Upperclassmen Student of the Month for January. She is the daughter of Chris and Angela Milby and she has 2 siblings, Abbie and Jared. Emma is involved in volleyball and NHS here at Triopia.
Mrs. Dober nominated Emma and noted, “Emma has really been working hard and asking great questions since returning from break. She is in two dual credit courses for me and doing her very best in both. Go Emma!”
Emma plans to attend Western Illinois University and go into the medical field. In addition to college, she has another goal for after high school which is to go on a mission trip. Her favorite class is Anatomy because it interests her the most. Some of Emma’s favorite things are osaka noodles, highland cows, the TV show All American, the movie The Longest Ride, and her favorite holiday is Valentine’s Day. She enjoys babysitting outside of school and her favorite hobby is watching TikTok’s. Emma’s mentioned that she doesn't like frozen pizzas and being distubred when sleeping. Congratulations, Emma Milby!


Tomorrow is our 100th Day of School!!
Students in PK-2 are encouraged to wear a class color t-shirt, if they have, or any Triopia shirt! Students in grades 3-6 have the option of dressing up as a 100 year old or wearing a class color or Triopia shirt!
Reminder: Every year we collect donations to make a contribution to a local organization and/or individual. Class totals are being shared each day with students.... the final total collection will be announced tomorrow afternoon! Students are encouraged to bring in any denomination of coins (or bills) – even a check made out to Triopia Grade School!


Rhianna Lovekamp is the Underclassmen Student of the Month for January. She is the daughter of Robyn and Rick Lovekamp and has one sibling, Rhianna is involved in volleyball, softball, archery, and choir, here at Triopia.
Rhianna was nominated by Mr. Doyle who had this to say, “She always goes above and beyond in the quality of work that she delivers. She continually puts time and effort beyond what is asked and expected of her.” Mr. Doyle also praises Rhianna for the EXTRA CREDIT PROJECT she made of a 3-D castle that covers a desk.
Rhianna says that she wants to either go to Harvard or University of Illinois to study education so she can become a Teacher. Some other goals Rhianna has for life after high school is to learn to ice skate and snowboard. Rhianna’s favorite class is either Math or Choir because Mrs. Burchard and Mrs. Burrus are so nice. Rhianna says that those classes typically come easy to her but will challenge her at the same time. Some of Rhianna’s favorite things are apples, chocolate, Swedish Fish, dogs, and unicorns. Her favorite TV shows are Grey’s Anatomy and Stranger Things and her favorite movies are Holidate and Jumanji. She also enjoys volleyball, softball, and skateboarding. Rhianna’s least favorite things are wasps, snakes, spiders, brussel sprouts, and playing basketball. Congratulations Rhianna!
