
Ms. Ayres’ Biology class did an activity on Ecology and used common household items (tweezers, clothes pin, spoons, and hair clips) as “beaks” to show the different kinds of species. They used their “beaks” to pick as much food off the ground as they could in 30 seconds. The class gathered data to show what “”beak” worked the best.



The HS Boys Basketball game v. Calhoun is cancelled tonight.
It is rescheduled for Monday, February 10.
Little Cheer and Pom Camp participants will perform on Monday during halftime of the varsity game.
Also all Tri County youth basketball players are invited to Monday's game and will be admitted for free, if they wear their Tri-County tshirt.
The 8th grade boys basketball team and parents will also be recognized.

The Class of 2024 is selling Strawberries - all orders are due Friday, February 14 - see any 8th grader, Miss Lynn or Mrs. Price to order. Strawberries will be delivered in March.

Reminder tomorrow is the little pom and cheer camp from 9:00-12:00 at Triopia. Please drop off and pick up students by the cafeteria/elementary school doors in the front or back of the building. Thank you.

Tomorrow will be class color day in connection with the 100th day of school! It is the last day to bring a donation as our 100th day collection this year will be presented to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.


On Monday, February 3rd the Junior Class of Meredosia-Chambersburg is hosting a pork chop dinner at Meredosia-Chambersburg High School. It’s from 4:00-7:00 PM. The high school girls basketball team plays that night starting at 6:00 PM. The cost for a sandwich will be $4.00. The cost for a sandwich, chips, and dessert will be $5.00. Come out and Support the M-C Junior Class!

Miss Laurie visited with Mrs. Strubbe's 4th grade class and they discussed their favorites. They helped set the menu for tomorrow, January 29:
Walking Tacos, Shredded Lettuce Salad, Corn Bread, Strawberry Cups, Bomb Pop and Milk.


There will be a pulled pork dinner prior to the HS girls basketball game on Feb. 6 - A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight!

Spring Break Update: We have used three "emergency days" have so far in the school year, so as of now there will be no school on March 26 or 27, 2020.
