Maggie Foster is the Underclassmen Student of the Month for February. She is the daughter of John and Jamie Foster. Maggie has a dog named Ranger and a cat named Gypsy. Maggie is involved in scholastic bowl, poms, and softball here at Triopia.
Maggie was nominated by Mrs. Burrus who had this to say, “Maggie comes to class willing and ready to learn. She is very responsible about contacting the teachers when she knows that she will be missing school as well as getting all of her assignments completed upon returning. This is a rare quality and is much appreciated.”
Maggie says that she wants to go to Maryville University and become a Registered Nurse or an Optometrist. Some other goals Maggie has for life after high school is travel to Europe to see Greece and also to see Anne Frank’s house. Maggie’s favorite class is accounting with Mrs. Smith as she does a great job explaining things so they are very easy to understand. Some of Maggie’s favorite things are horses, tuna casserole, the TV show criminal minds, the movie Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron and her favorite holiday is Christmas. She also enjoys reading and writing stories. Maggie’s least favorite things are carrots and disorganized items. Congratulations Maggie Foster!

The February Junior High Student of the Month is Lillie Stucker (7th grade). She is the daughter of Jason and Renee Stucker and has a sister named Makenzie.
Lillie was nominated by Mrs. Morrow who had this to say, “Lillie is such a pleasure to have in class. It is important to her to do well, and it shows. The main reason I nominated Lillie is because of her thoughtfulness and willingness to help others. She is the first to jump in to help a classmate if they're having trouble. The world would be a better place if it were full of people like Lillie!”
Lillie wants to attend the University of Tennessee and wants to become a Prosthetic Specialist. Lillie's favorite classes here at Triopia are her classes with Mrs. Morrow because “she is a great teacher, very nice, and I enjoy the partner work.” Lillie really likes goldfish crackers, turtles, the TV show Full House, and the movie “The Little Turtle.” Her favorite thing to do is drive the golf cart and she enjoys camping and swimming. Lillie has a few things she does not like as well. She really does not like judgmental people and the COLD. Congratulations Lillie Stucker!

Good morning:
As a reminder, spectators at sporting events are expected to sit in the bleachers on the opposite side of the players and coaches. This is an expectation per the IHSA, IESA, and IDPH. Administration has marked proper seating with tape.
Anyone who is involved in game activities (scoreboard, bookkeeping, videoing, etc.) is allowed to sit on the same side as the team when necessary.
Thank you for following the guidance and allowing our athletes to continue to participate!
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Football practice is allowed to begin next Wednesday, March 3rd. Coach is planning on practicing 3:45-5:15. Players that are interested need to have a current physical on file and will need to get athletic fees paid if they have not done so already. The first two days of practice are Helmets only and athletes should bring indoor and outdoor gear somewhat like spring baseball practice (be prepared for anything) which means cleats, sweats and hoodies for outside and shorts/ tshirts , tennis shoes for inside.
