For the week of September 19th, 2022, Triopia is pleased to spotlight new Jr. Sr. High School teacher Kelsey Handy. Ms. Handy graduated from Western Illinois University in 2015. Prior to coming to Triopia, she taught at Jacksonville High School for two years. Ms. Handy’s favorite class to teach is horticulture, and her favorite thing about teaching ag is getting to do lots of hands on activities and getting students involved in FFA so they can experience new things. Outside of school, Ms. Handy enjoys cooking, gardening, and swimming. Her favorite thing about Triopia is the small school setting and how friendly and helpful everyone is. Other than teaching, most of Ms. Handy’s work experience comes from plant retail sales and landscaping! We are thankful to have Ms. Handy and for everything she does for our students! #triopia
