Morgan County Soil and Water Conservation District visited 3rd Grade today. Miss Dawnell taught the students the history of Arbor Day. They learned that Arbor Day originated in Nebraska City in the early 1870s. In 1970, President Nixon proclaimed the last Friday in April as National Arbor Day. Students each received two white oak trees to plant at home. Thank you, Miss Dawnell for teaching our students about Arbor Day! #triopia

Today our 8th grade students participated in the Welcome to the Real World Program provided by the University of Illinois Extension. This great program gave students insight into real life spending, budgeting, and costs.

Today the 5th grade made sun dials to see how the position of the sun helps us tell time! #triopia

We are in need of subs!

Mark your calendars for these End of the Year dates...

Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Hunter Wooldridge! Hunter's favorite teacher is Coach Brockhouse and his favorite class is physical education. While at school, Hunter has participated in football and athletic enhancement. Outside of school, Hunter likes to play games with friends and work out. After graduation, Hunter plans to attend LLCC to study Construction Occupations! Hunter also says he prefers GM products over any other automotive brand. We are proud to have had Hunter at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia
