Attention 6th - 8th grade students interested in JH Softball:

Good Afternoon:
Missouri Floors have now completed the staining and seal coating of the new maple gymnasium floor. They will begin painting the game lines on Monday.
Progress also continues to be made in the Jr. Sr. High School Office. Next week I will share images of the updates in that area.
I am excited at the progress and can't wait to share the finished product with the students and community!
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Good Afternoon:
Today the crew from Missouri Floors completed the installation of the maple gymnasium floor. Next week, they will begin the process of finishing and begin preparing it for painting. Painting is scheduled to begin the week of July 15th.
I'm thankful for the two man crew that completed this job. Joey and J.J. from Missouri Floors put together a floor that will serve our students and communities for decades to come.
I hope you all have a great holiday weekend with your families!
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Please reach out to Mr. Dean, Mr. Kuhlmann or Mrs. Hobrock with any questions!

Happy Birthday, Ms. Katie Maggart!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Doyle!

Good Afternoon:
Please see the attached photos which reflect the fifth week of work of Phase Two of our building upgrades in the Jr. Sr. High School. This week they made major progress with the new maple gymnasium floor. By the middle of next week, the floor will be laid. During the two weeks after that, the floor will be finished and painted. After that, it will cure for a while and then they will begin on the poured floor where the stage used to be. In the office, they finished the drywall, began the "rough in" of the HVAC system and began the demo of the floor. Next week they will begin painting the walls and replacing the floor in the office. It is exciting to see the progress that happens every week.!
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Gehrke!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Hobrock!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Miller!

Good Afternoon:
Please see the attached photos which reflect the fourth week of work of Phase Two of our building upgrades in the Jr. Sr. High School. This week they began installing the subfloor that will be under the new maple gymnasium floor. With these two layers of plywood and other subflooring, the floor itself will be more safe and will have more give for our athletes than the previous one. The subfloor should be fully laid by Monday, and then they will begin placing the maple on the floor by Tuesday.
This week they finished masonry work and began drywalling in the Jr. Sr. High School Office. Next week they will mud, tape, and begin painting these areas.
Thus far I have been very pleased with the progress as we move forward.
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Job Opportunity!

Happy Birthday, Mr. Harbison!

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Vanmeter!

Good Afternoon:
Please see the attached photos which reflect the second week of work of Phase Two of our building upgrades in the Jr. Sr. High School. The next step for the secure entry/office project will consist of door frames and drywall. Once the floor in the gymnasium is completely removed, the flooring company will be in next week to begin their work. I will continue to send updates as we move forward this summer.
Sincerely,
Adam Dean
Superintendent

Good Evening:
Today, a demo crew began removing the old high school gym floor. Unfortunately the way it was constructed did not allow for a "clean" removal. Many of the floor pieces are broken. The entire floor should be removed by tomorrow. After that, the old floor will be loaded into a semi and disposed of. If anyone would like pieces of the floor, you are welcome to come and pick up pieces this evening. We just ask that those doing so use caution and keep what is not taken piled up for easy removal for our crews tomorrow.
Any questions can be emailed to adean@triopiacusd27.org.
Thank you,
Adam Dean
Superintendent
