Good Morning,
In addition to the work on the gym, we completed another important project this summer: securing our Jr./Sr. High School Office. Rather than building an addition, we utilized existing space by transforming the teacher's lounge into an office. Now, our principal, secretary, and athletic director all work within this area. The counselor's office and teacher's lounge have been relocated to the former offices of the principal and secretary.
This project, along with the completion of the grade school office project, the installation of phones in classrooms, our annual safety plan review, and the ongoing purchase of safety apps, demonstrates the district's commitment to the safety and security of our students and staff.

Join the Triopia Trojans Lady's Volleyball team Volley for Hope event on October 3. New to our event: The Lady Trojans will be wearing custom jerseys featuring the names of cancer fighters and survivors, as well as loved ones who have lost their battle. To have your loved one's name placed on each jersey we ask that you email Mrs. Hobrock (jhobrock@triopiacusd27.org) by Friday, August 30. In your email, please list the name you'd like on the jersey and type of cancer they have/had and put Volley for Hope in the subject line. All the jerseys will be the same except the player number - see attached image as an idea (this is not the actual design, but will be close). The jerseys will be auctioned off at our event this year! All names must be emailed by August 30 by 4:00 PM due to production times. We appreciate your support. All proceeds from our Volley for Hope event go directly to local families and the Mia Ware Foundation.

Good Afternoon:
Please see the attached photos of the progress in the high school gym through today, August 22nd. The poured floor where the stage stood is complete, and will require a three-week curing period before the second set of bleachers can be built. The bleachers on the home side are nearly complete! Our tentative goal is to have everything finished before the September 17th home volleyball game. We are excited to share the culmination of this intensive and worthy project that will serve our students and community for years to come.
