We are quickly approaching the 100th Day of School – January 28, 2020!
Every year we collect donations to make a contribution to a local organization. Classes will begin collecting money on Wednesday, January 22. Students are encouraged to bring in any denomination of coins (or bills) – pennies are not required! An assembly will be held on the 100th day, where we will present all the funds collected to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight representatives.
Funds collected this year will be donated to: Land of Lincoln Honor Flight – this experience is free to the veterans, but costs $525 to actually send them. Our hope is that Triopia Grade School can sponsor at least 2 veterans on the Honor Flight.
