Good Morning: After consulting with the Board of Education last night, plans are beginning to finalize for our high school graduation ceremony on Friday, May 28th. We apologize for the hesitation to make an announcement on specific plans, but were waiting to see if Illinois would enter the "Bridge Phase" before this event. With the movement to the "Bridge Phase" this Friday, spectator events are allowed to have 60% capacity. After calculating the capacity numbers in our high school gym and looking at graduation attendance in the past, we feel comfortable moving forward with an indoor graduation where we shouldn't have to limit attendance. There may be an adjustment here or there, but anyone wanting and feeling comfortable enough to come should be able to. More specifics will be coming out in the coming days. We are looking forward to celebrating the accomplishments of the Triopia Class of 2021! Sincerely, Adam Dean Superintendent

Congratulations to the following students who received Honorable Mention awards for scoring between 50-74% on the National Spanish Exam this spring. Pictured left to right: Gracie Hobrock- level 3, Maggie Foster-level 2, and Lilly Pate- level 1. This is the first year Lilly and Maggie have taken the exam. Gracie has earned the Honorable Mention award for three consecutive years in levels 1-3. ¡Buen trabajo! “Attaining a medal or honorable mention for any student on the National Spanish Examinations is very prestigious,” said Kevin Cessna-Buscemi, National Director of the Exams, “because the exams are the largest of their kind in the United States with over 55,000 students participating in 2021.”
