Also, Thursday, October 28th is dress like the 50's day to celebrate our 50th day of school this year. We look forward to seeing the creativity over the next two days.

Each year the third full week of October is considered "Principal Appreciation Week" in Illinois. Please join us in recognizing the hard work of our two building principals. We are lucky to have Mrs. Hobrock and Mr. Sorrells! Our buildings would not be the same without their dedication to our students and staff! Please take a moment to reach out to let them know how much you appreciate them this week!

Triopia 4th grade students have been learning a lot about how electricity is transformed from different kinds of energy sources. Jason Beck came in to give them a first hand account of his job at the power plant near Peoria. He shared his knowledge about how electricity is transformed from fossil fuels at the plant and what power plants are doing to protect the environment. Thanks Jason!
