Parents of the Triopia community,
Mr. Beddingfield is in the process of starting a junior high scholastic bowl team, with the goal of strengthening the high school team and at the same time celebrating our great Triopia education. We want to showcase our Triopia students that aren’t afraid to demonstrate their
depth of knowledge in a competitive environment and NOT be ashamed of it and in such a way that we can truly represent our community and school.
There are four criteria that must be met to join the team: a HS/JH teacher recommendation is needed, exemplary attendance {proof of commitment}, discipline {the ability to do what is expected of oneself}, and honor roll {appreciates a quality education}.
The season will run from approximately March 16th through April 27th. We will try to avoid any conflicts with track and field in Virginia. We want anyone that wants to participate in both sports the opportunity to do so. Practices will start at 4:30pm and will last until 5:15pm. There will be a cost of approximately $10 for a team t-shirt that will be kept by the participant at the end of the season. Dress code for competitive events requires khaki pants, dress or sports shoes, and uniform top.
See Mr. Beddingfield for a sign-up sheet.
