Students always look forward to Pi Day with Ms. Gehrke! She loves sharing mini pies with the students and having them do Pi Day Math activities.






For the week of March 10th, 2025, Triopia Jr. Sr. High School is pleased to spotlight senior Avery Garner. Avery’s favorite teachers are Mrs. Holt and Mrs. Smith. While in school, Avery has participated in the CEO Program, golf, FCA, and the school play. Outside of school, Avery likes to go to the gym, play guitar, and hang out with friends. After high school, Avery plans to attend Maryville University and will work towards his masters in business. When asked to share something else, Avery says he is colorblind and that he is scared of water. We are proud to have Avery represent our school and community! #triopia

Tonight, the board of education and district administration met with Patrick Allen from IASB to review community survey results and began the process of setting district goals. These goals will revolve around student achievement, programs and services, facilities, district finances, and community relations. The process that began tonight will continue over the next several months. #triopia

For the week of March 3rd, 2025, Triopia Jr. Sr. High School is pleased to spotlight senior Ile Frigau. Ile’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Holt and her favorite class is English IV. While at school, Ile has participated in cheerleading and softball. Outside of school, she likes to hang out with her friends, listen to music, and spend time calling her family and friends in Italy. After high school, Ile plans to go back to Italy, finish school there, then apply to university for languages or economics. When asked to tell us something else, Ile says she loves to travel and hopes to have a job that allows her to do so! We are proud to have Ile represent our school and community! #triopia

For the week of March 3rd,, 2025, Triopia Jr. Sr. High School is pleased to spotlight senior Faith Embley. Faith’s favorite teacher is Mrs. Wardell and her favorite class is Art. While at school, Faith has been the Poms Squad Captain, Student Council President, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica President, participated in spring musical, band, NHS, and Jacksonville Youth for Change. She also attends LLCC through the College NOW Program. Outside of school, Faith dances at Sara’s Studio of Dance, is involved at the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville in services and the youth group. She also spends her summer working in the kitchen at Lake Springfield Baptist Camp. She also includes that she likes to listen to music and spend time with her family and friends. After high school, she plans to attend Judson University in Elgin, Illinois and will study interior design while minoring in architecture. She plans to participate in the Spirit Squad there, as well. When asked to tell us something else, Faith says her favorite movie is the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice! We are proud to have Faith represent our school and community! #triopia

For the week of February 24th, 2025, Triopia Jr. Sr. High School is pleased to spotlight Nate Doyle. Nate’s favorite teacher is Mr. Doyle and his favorite class in Intro to Business. While in school, Nate has participated in football, scholastic bowl, and track and field. Outside of school, Nate likes weightlifting and hanging out with friends. After high school, Nate plans to attend LLCC for Construction Management. When asked to share something else, Nate says he has two cats! On Saturday, the Second Annual Triopia Basketball Clinic ended. Roughly sixty-five 1st-4th grade boys and girls participated in the program where we focused on having fun, fundamentals, and creating a love for the game. The student athletes were invited during both a high school girls and high school boys game to be introduced and were allowed to show some skills they learned at the clinic. Special thank you students athletes Andrew Hobrock, Sam Miller, Avery Neathery, Mylee Tracy, Addilynn Tracy, and Brock York who helped on the last Saturday! #triopia






Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Gracie Holt. She recently received an award of Special Recognition from the Illinois State Board of Education. We sincerely thank Mrs. Holt for all that she does for our students and our school!
