Community Garden Planting Day was a success! The weather was beautiful and the students all took part in planting the vegetables! The FFA Petting Zoo was an added bonus - thanks to all the members that brought animals for the kids to see and learn about! Last Friday during National Volunteer Week, our staff spent the afternoon giving back to the community. This included:
-Working at the Arenzville Food Pantry
-Working at P.A.W.S. in Jacksonville
-Making blankets for charitable agencies
-Picking up trash around the streets of Chapin
-Cleaning out buildings on the campus of Triopia
We are thankful for the time our staff dedicated during this important day! #triopia




Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Olivia Stock. Olivia's favorite teachers have been Mrs. Holt and Mr. Doyle and her favorite class has been Ceramics. While in school, Olivia has participated in NHS. Outside of school, Olivia works at JCPenney and likes to hang out with friends. After graduation, Olivia will attend LLCC and will hopefully travel to many different places later in life. Olivia says she has been out of the country before! We are proud to have had Olivia at Triopia and we are excited to see what she accomplishes after graduation! #triopia #seniorspotlight

Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Eli Stock. Eli doesn't have a favorite teacher (he says he likes all of them) and his favorite class has been History Through Film. While in school, Eli has participated in scholastic bowl, NHS, and as the football manager. Outside of school, Eli likes video games and stargazing. After graduation, Eli will attend Culver Stockton. When asked for a random fact, Eli says he loves astronomy. We are proud to have had Eli at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia #seniorspotlight

Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is forJaci Stambaugh. Jaci's favorite teachers are Mrs. Holt and Mrs. Wardell and her favorite class has been Ceramics. While in school, Jaci has participated in softball, volleyball, and FFA. Outside of school, Jaci likes to try new cooking recipes and sleeping. After graduation, Jaci will attend LLCC and study radiology. When asked for a random fact, Jaci said she was able to spend her 18th birthday in Hawaii! We are proud to have had Jaci at Triopia and we are excited to see what she accomplishes after graduation! #triopia #seniorspotlight


The regular board meeting originally scheduled for May 17th has been moved up one week, to May 10th, at 7:00 PM.

April 16th-22nd is National Volunteer Week, and the Triopia staff will be participating in many activities tomorrow after the students are dismissed to commemorate the day!
This includes:
-Volunteering at the Arenzville Food Pantry
-Volunteering at P.A.W.S. in Jacksonville
-Picking up trash in our local communities
-Making No Sew Blankets for Charitable Agencies
-Etc.
Triopia hopes to remind our students and our communities the importance of volunteerism by our activities on this day! #triopia

Our Class of 2023 "Senior Class Spotlight" for today is for Ryan Snow. Ryan's favorite teacher is Mrs. Price and his favorite class has been Civics. While in school, Ryan has participated in basketball and NHS. Outside of school, Ryan likes to lift weights, golf, and help his dad on the farm. After graduation, Ryan will attend college and major in kinesiology or exercise science while playing basketball. When asked for a random fact, Ryan said his favorite food is crab legs.
