Good Afternoon: Please see the attached images for the progress of the grade school secured entrance addition. These pictures show the work completed through November 21st. As you can see, the inside is now being framed and insulated. Also, the EIFS on the front of the existing building is also being installed. Soon, masonry will begin on the outside as the matching bricks have already arrived. This will make the addition look as seamless as possible. As always, if you have any questions about the construction of this project or any other future projects be sure to reach out to me at 217-457-2283 x 1025 or via email at adean@triopiacusd27.org. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with your families! Sincerely, Adam Dean Superintendent

A few notes about the New Berlin Tournament (HS Boys Basketball) that kicks off this evening: New Berlin has a construction project going on, so please read the following regarding parking and entrance procedures. All fans will need to park in the gravel lots on the west side of the dome. Any overflow will need to park at the elementary school which is located a few hundred yards northwest of the dome. Note that all fans will enter the building at the door on the north side of the building through a classroom and then make their way to the Dome through the cafeteria.

Congratulations to Triopia Board of Education President Tracie Sayre on her election as Vice President of the Illinois Association of School Boards today during the Delegate Assembly in Chicago! This is an incredible honor and responsibility for Tracie. To have Triopia represented by her holding this office is also incredibly exciting! November 15th is School Board Members Day! School board members are volunteers serving as advocates striving for a quality education for every student. The members of our board take on this responsibility not for a paycheck, but for their commitment to our community and its children. Our board of education acts to safeguard two of our community's most precious resources -our children and tax dollars -while striving to create the best education environment possible with the resources available. Thank you to Brandon Beck, Jim Beck, Aaron Charlesworth, Tony Isringhausen, Cindy Littleton, Jacob Meyer, and Tracie Sayre for their dedication to Triopia CUSD #27! #thankaboardmember

Good Afternoon: Please see the attached images for the progress of the current secured entrance addition to the grade school. After a few week wait, the trusses arrived on Tuesday. This allowed the contractors to accomplish a significant amount of work through the remainder of the week. Starting on Monday, the old glass windows on the front of the building will be removed and on Thursday they will begin adding shingles to the roof. This week we also selected colors for the cabinetry and counters as well as the framing of our windows. It has been fun to see the progress through our grade school students' eyes! They are very excited to see new things completed daily. We look forward to inviting the public in when the work is completed. As always, if you ever have any questions please reach out. Sincerely, Adam Dean Superintendent
