
Happy Birthday, Mrs. Seymour!


Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Kenzie Donovan! Kenzie's favorite teachers are Mrs. Holt, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Price and her favorite class is Ceramics. Outside of school, she works at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital and likes the hang out with friends and family. After graduation, Kenzie plans to attend Lincoln Land Community College. Kenzie also says that her favorite lunch at school is chicken nachos. We are proud to have had Kenzie at Triopia and we are excited to see what she accomplishes after graduation! #triopia


Triopia will be hosting the IHSA Girls Basketball Regional on Tuesday Feb 13th and Friday Feb 16th. Admission is $5 for all spectators (set by IHSA) and passes cannot be accepted.


Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Brooklyn Beck! Brooklyn's favorite teachers are Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Holt and Ms. Handy and her favorite class is CEO. While at Triopia, Brooklyn has participated in FFA as the Chapter Treasurer and Section 13 Secretary, on the softball team, and as the high school boys basketball manager. Outside of school, she likes to participate in 4-H (showing livestock), photography, baking/cooking, and doing hair. After graduation, Brooklyn plans to attend the Career Center in Springfield for Cosmetology. We are proud to have had Brooklyn at Triopia and we are excited to see what she accomplishes after graduation! #triopia


Today was day one of our inaugural Triopia Youth Basketball Clinic! The word of the week was “coachable”. We discussed the importance of being humble, listening to our coaches, and taking their direction to get better! We are especially grateful to the high school players who assisted us! Special thank you to K.J. Beck, Andrew Hobrock, Anna Isringhausen, Gabby Myers, and Mylee Tracy for their help this morning! We are looking forward to having everyone back next Saturday! #triopia






Triopia's 2024 Senior Class Spotlight for today is Collin Caldwell! Collin's favorite teacher is Mrs. Burrus and his favorite class is PE. While at Triopia, he has participated on the golf team, National Honor Society, and Student Council. Outside of school, Collin likes to camp, fish, and golf. After graduation, Collin plans to attend Illinois State University. Collin also says that his favorite artist is Kanye West. We are proud to have had Collin at Triopia and we are excited to see what he accomplishes after graduation! #triopia


Congratulations to our very own Jamie Hobrock for being selected as the the Two Rivers Region IPA Principal of the Year! We can't thank her enough for everything that she does for our school and the community!

Lunch Menu Change: Friday's lunch will be taco soup, fritos, blueberry bread, applesauce and milk.

Thursday's lunch will be bosco breadsticks, lettuce salad, pears, brownie and milk.

We are quickly approaching the 100th day of school!
Every year Triopia Grade School students collect donations to make a contribution to a local organization. Classes will begin collecting money on Thursday, January 25. Students are encouraged to bring in any denomination of coins (or bills) – even a check made out to Triopia Grade School!
This year we will be donating all funds collected to the United Way. The United Way of Central Illinois has a variety of services to assist members of our community. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hobrock at jhobrock@triopiacusd27.org.

The lunch menu will for Wednesday will be Hot Dog on Pretzel Bun with Cheese, Fries, Applesauce and Milk.

Triopia schools will be CLOSED today (Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024).
A decision on athletic contests, including the Triopia Tournament, will be made by noon.

As of now, Triopia Schools will be in session and on regular schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23.

Triopia Schools will NOT be in session tomorrow, Monday, January 22 due to predicted incoming weather. All events and practices are also canceled.

This Monday is the start of our 3rd Annual Triopia Varsity/JV boys basketball tournament. It will be a full week of exciting basketball! Ticket prices will be $5 each day for all spectators, passes cannot be used.



Tri-County Youth Basketball that previously existed for students in grade 1-4, is changing into a four-week Triopia Youth Basketbal Clinic - information is being sent home with students today!
