Good morning,
Last night, the Board of Education approved a few parking and paving improvements to be completed during the summer of 2026. These include:
-The front diagonal drive will receive new curbing, sidewalks leading into the building, and 25 parking spaces finished in concrete. This is reflected in the attached image.
-The rear fire lane will receive new curbing and additional sidewalks, including a curved sidewalk connecting to the main rear walkway that leads to the cafeteria patio and grade school gym entrance. These improvements are designed to enhance safety and provide easier access to the building from the rear parking lot.
As with any paving project, the parking lot will experience several weeks of significant construction this summer. The district will keep the community, staff, and students informed about designated parking areas during various phases of the project, especially when events are taking place on campus.
I am grateful for the opportunity to lead a district where we can make improvements that enhance safety, accessibility, and contribute to the overall appearance of our beautiful, small school campus.

Triopia Schools will dismiss two hours early on Wednesday, April 22 for a School Improvement Day.
Our next bat boy is….Harlen Greer! The baseball team is looking forward to having Hank in the dugout and on the field with them tomorrow when they are home vs. PORTA at 11:00 AM!

Triopia NHS students delivered a donut breakfast and a pizza lunch to Jacksonville Police and Fire Departments today! We are thankful to our local servicemen & women!

Softball and baseball are canceled for today. We do not have a rescheduled date at this time.

Softball - 3:45-5:15 - bring clothes for inside and outside
HS track meet at Rushville is canceled for today! (This meet will not be made up). They will practice from 3:30-5:00 (bus leaves Triopia at 3).

The Tracy Family Foundation is excited to collaborate with Chaddock to bring a Screen Sanity Parent Night Event back to West Central Illinois! Screen Sanity is a nationally recognized organization that helps families create healthy technology habits and guide children safely through the digital world. Their research-based training gives parents practical tools for setting screen boundaries, introducing smartphones and social media wisely, and having meaningful conversations with their kids about technology.
This FREE event, which dinner included, is open to anyone involved in raising children—parents, caregivers, educators, and more. The content is designed specifically for adults and will offer practical language and strategies you can use immediately with children.
