Homecoming 2017

Every year the Triopia High School Student Council plans Homecoming Week, again this year they are working with Meredosia and Virginia. 

This year Homecoming Week is September 11-16. 
The following are the dress up days for the week:

Monday - Perfect Pairs (ex: PBJ, Batman/Robin) or Movie Character Day
Tuesday - Food Day (ex: food costumes) or Hawaiian Day
Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday (ex: mismatch, crazy outfit) or "Way Back Wednesday" (ex: dressing up as yourself in grade school)
Thursday - Class Color Day
 Seniors: Rumblin' Red
 Juniors: Passionate Purple
 Sophomores: Glorious Green
 Freshmen: Proud Pink
 Faculty/Staff: Terrific Tie Dye

Friday: Blue and White Day

Thursday evening, September 14, there sill be a tailgating party in the Triopia School parking lot beginning at 6:00 PM.  The Student Council will be selling slices of pizza and soda for $1 each.  Then afterwards, there will be a male volleyball game played at 6:30 in the HS Gym, then powderpuff football will follow at 7:30 on Don Kemp Field.  A pep rally will end the night beginning at 8:30 on the football field. Public is invited to attend.

The homecoming football game will be on Friday, September 15 v. Camp Point Central at 7:00 PM. 

This year there will be homecoming parade - Virginia Town Square on Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 AM.  Students should wear their class color t-shirt and report to Virginia High School at 9:30 AM

The week will conclude with the dance on Saturday, September 16 at Virginia from 7:00-9:45 PM.  Coronation will be at 7:00 PM.  Admission is $5.  Everyone (public) is invited to attend coronation - only HS students are allowed at the dance.

Following the dance, there will be bonfire from 9:45-11:00 PM at Virginia.
