Operation Teen Safe Driving

2014-2015 Operation Teen Safe Driving (OTSD) program for Triopia HS is in full swing.  OTSD began in 2007 and, since then, annual teen fatality numbers in automobile crashes have dropped by more than half in Illinois. The program includes the support of IDOT, The Ford Motor Company, and the Allstate Foundation.  Triopia is one of 105 schools in the state selected to participate this year.  This is the 4th year that our students have been selected to campaign for safe driving in Illinois.  Our school received $2000 to spend on the campaign.  It’s a student lead cause that involves many fun activities for the students and community members as well.  Ask any of our S.T.A.R.S.  (Students Teaching About Road Safety) and they will bring you up to date about our campaign to keep our community and kids safe on the roads.  Keep checking this website for news and updates about this program.  Thanks for the support and always remember to drive safely!
